Androulakis urged "any democratic citizen to give more strength to PASOK in order to assume the necessary initiatives to build together a modern and strong Centre-left".

He excluded any possibility of cooperation with main opposition SYRIZA of Mr. Kasselakis stating that he will not allow SYRIZA's existence problem to become PASOK's problem.

On the non-public universities bill, Androulakis noted that "a strict regulation framework in favour of the public character of the Education may upgrade the quality the public education and effectively prevent its commercialisation. If, for example, a non-profitable university on the standards of the European and US universities with a campus and research, we will not stand against it because we want to be a modern country. However, our priority is the strengthening of the public universities that concern millions of Greeks and not only the few".

On the marriage of people of the same sex, he said that PASOK as modern party of the European social-democracy is pioneer in the struggle for the human rights. This is the political framework of our parliamentary group without however, imposing of party discipline.

On the farmers' mobilisations, Androulakis sternly attacked the government saying it is ignoring the major issues of the primary sector in the last five years.
