PM Mitsotakis to chair cabinet meeting, take part in conference on Thursday
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will chair a cabinet meeting at 11:00 am on Thursday, at the Maximos Mansion.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will chair a cabinet meeting at 11:00 am on Thursday, at the Maximos Mansion.
At the cabinet meeting, the following ministers will present the following issues:
- Development Minister Kostas Skrekas, measures against high pricing and a bill to improve the market's function
- National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias, a bill including research and innovation in the Armed Forces and upgrading the military school framework
- Rural Development & Foods Minister Lefteris Avgenakis, a bill on protected designation foods and inspections by the ministry
- National Economy & Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis and Deputy Minister Harry Theoharis, the taxation process code and EU regulations on car insurance, and
- Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, a bill compiling several issues of the Health Ministry.
In the evening, at 20:00, Mitsotakis will participate in a conference jointly organized by Kathimerini newspaper, the National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation (MIET), the Delphi Economic Forum, and the Hellenic Observatory of the London School of Economics, on the 50th anniversary since the end of the Greek dictatorship.
Specifically, the premier will have a chat with Kathimerini Executive Editor Alexis Papachelas, and University of Athens Professor of Economic and Social History and MIET Director Kostas Kostis.
