Kasselakis: 'No to fake news, no to Mitsotakis on the shoreline and the sea'

Main opposition leader Stefanos Kasselakis, in a Tik Tok post on Thursday, urged voters "not to be taken in by the lies of the prime minister (Kyriakos Mitsotakis), including on Tik Tok," while adding: "Remember: no to fake news, no to Mitsotakis, on the shoreline and the sea."

Kasselakis posted the message in reply to a video recently posted by the prime minister on the same platform, regarding the bill on beaches and the shoreline.

According to Kasselakis, "in order to avoid the public outcry and the grave responsibilites of the Tempi valley [train collision], the prime minister went to the seaside... I will not tell you what Syriza says but what the WWF says. The World Wildlife Fund describes the new bill as 'the shoreline destruction bill' because it reduces the public space along our coastline and provides no guarantees for the protection of sensitive ecosystems, while it even abolishes the scant 30-metre, building-free zone along the shoreline".
