Skrekas: Our goal is to heal the wounds left behind by the most severe natural disaster
"Our goal is to heal the wounds left behind by the most severe natural disaster to hit our country. Spurred by the national disaster, we should take all those measures that will strengthen the production model of the region, transform the economic model so as to make Thessaly economically and socially stronger and more resilient to the repercussions of climate change," Development Minister Kostas Skrekas said on Thursday at the annual meeting of the Association of Thessalian Businesses and Industries held in Larissa.
At the same time, Skrekas referred to the progress of the economy, noting that "over the last four years, the country's economy has been growing at rates four times greater than the European average and this helps us to solve chronic problems".
