Prime Minister Mitsotakis visiting Canada; meetings with PM Trudeau

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is on an official visit to Montreal and Toronto on Sunday and Monday.

His schedule for the two days (March 24-25) follows. All times are Greek times:

SUNDAY

- At 15:30, Mitsotakis will meet with his Canadian counterpart, Justin Trudeau in Montreal.

- At 17:30, the PM will attend the celebratory liturgy for Greek Independence Day (March 25) at the Greek Orthodox Church of Dormition.

- At 18:50, he will be joined by Trudeau to observe the parade of Greek Community associations of Greater Montreal for March 25.

- At 00:30 (following midnight Greek time), Mitsotakis and Trudeau will address an event by the Greek Community of Greater Montreal.

On MONDAY morning local time, the Greek PM will visit Toronto.

- At 18:00 (Greek time), he will meet with Ontario Premier Doug Ford.

- At 18:30, Mitsotakis will attend an event by the Economic Club of Canada that includes a discussion with businessman Nik (Nikitas) Nanos. The PM will speak with other business leaders as well before delivering a keynote address at a luncheon held in his honor.

- At 21:00, Mitsotakis will visit a research center at the Mars Discovery District.

- At 00:30 (following midnight Greek time), the Greek PM will address a Greeks abroad event at the Toronto Convention Center. Canadian Premier Trudeau will also participate in the event.
