Kerameus concludes first part of information campaign on postal vote in the USA and Canada

The first part of Interior Minister Niki Kerameus' information campaign to the USA and Canada on the postal vote was concluded on Tuesday.

Kerameus has visited the State of California and specifically San Francisco and Los Angeles, two cities in which the Greek diaspora has a long and intense presence and analysed to hundreds of Greek expatriates the procedure of the postal vote.

In parallel, the minister met with the Metropolitan of San Francisco Gerasimos with whom she discussed ways the Church could contribute to the information on the postal voste as well as with the president of the US-Greek Council of California Spyros Lazaris with whom she discussed initiatives to enhance the participation in the elections.

Kerameus also met with the executive director of the Economic Institute Bay Area Council Sean Randolph who she briefed on the Greek government's wider efforts to improve the offered services to the Greek citizens through the use of new technologies.

She also attended events for the celebration of the Greek Independence Day (March 25) that was held at the Loyola Marymount University.

Later, she went to Canada where she participated in the government's delegation headed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Kerameus will conclude her information campaign in north America with her visits to Boston and New York.
