PM Mitsotakis touring the village of Kalavryta

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis started his visit to Kalavryta on Tuesday morning, at the vineyards of the Cavino winery estate in the Megalo Spileo area.

Kalavryta Mayor Thanassis Papadopoulos welcomed the prime minister, while after his tour of the vineyards, Mitsotakis visited the holy monastery of Mega Spileo, accompanied by Culture Minister Lina Mendoni.

The prime minister was conducted on a tour of the monastery, where work on the conservation of the monastery's church were recently completed.

Afterwards, Mitsotakis is to visit the Municipal Museum of the Kalavryta Holocaust and the Town Hall of Kalavryta.

At 12:15 the prime minister will have a meeting with citizens in the central square of Kalavryta and then visit the Kalavryta Sacrifice Memorial, on the hill of Kappi.

At 14:00, the Greek premier will visit the facilities of the Kalavryta Cooperative.
