Gerapetritis in Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday for NATO FMs meeting
Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is visiting Brussels on Wednesday 3 April in order to take part in a two-day meeting of the foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance member-states.
On the agenda of the meeting is the war in Ukraine and security in NATO's Southern Neighbourhood ahead of the Alliance's Summit in Washington from on July 9-11, the foreign ministry said in an announcement.
Gerapetritis will then attend an event organised by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the occasion of the 75th anniversary since the foundation of NATO.
On Thursday, April 4, Gerapetritis will attend a special ceremony on NATO's 75th anniversary. Later, Gerapetritis will take part in the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting in the presence of the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
Finally, Gerapetritis will attend a joint meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers and their counterparts from the Indo-Pacific - namely Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea - in the presence of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell.
