Chrysochoidis to hold teleconference with 2,500 police officers on domestic violence

Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis is going to have a teleconference on Friday morning with more than 2,500 police officers on the issue of domestic violence.

After the murder of the 28-year-old girl by her 39-year-old ex-partner, outside the police station of Agioi Anargyroi, a new, stricter, protocol for dealing with incidents of domestic violence will be implemented, while instructions will be given again to police officers, from all police departments.

Meanwhile, Chrysochoidis stated that more than 17,000 police officers have been trained in domestic violence.
