Mitsotakis meets Tusk in Warsaw
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet on Friday, April 12, at 12:15, in Warsaw with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Afterwards, the two leaders will make statements to the press.
It is the first visit of a Greek prime minister to Poland since 2011.
During the meeting, all issues of European interest are expected to be discussed, in view of the special European Council next week (April 17-18), as well as issues of regional and international interest, with a focus on the latest developments in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Government sources reported that the two leaders - at the same time the two most powerful leaders of the EPP at the moment - are expected in their private meeting to discuss issues concerning the strategy of the European People's Party in the run-up to the European elections, as well as the next day for Europe.
