Androulakis: The prosperity of the smaller islands populations is a top priority for us
"The prosperity of the permanent populations of the smaller islands of our country is a top priority for us and that's why we propose strong tax incentives for productive investments in manufacturing and the primary sector along with the strenthgening of the infrastructure and strong social state with focus on education and health".
Androulakis and Revinthis also discussed the problems of the islanders, the degradation of social state infrastructure and services as well as the effects of the golden visa on the residential development of small islands with less than 3,000 inhabitants.
"There is also the issue that has arisen with the golden visa" Androulakis said to the may adding that " I find it inconceivable that the government - after PASOK's pressure - raised the golden visa limit to 800,000 euros in Crete and other large islands, but here in the smaller islands of the Cyclades and the rest of Greece the limit remains at 400,000 euros as a result of which great pressure is caused and inequalities are created", he added.
