Celebrations all over Greece after Olympiacos' triumph

Thousands of Olympiacos fans gathered at the port of Piraeus on Wednesday night and celebrated wildly, lighting red flares and fireworks after Olympiacos beat Fiorentina 1-0. Celebrations peaked when the European champions arrived at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, just before 5 in the morning, in order to celebrate together the first European trophy.
Celebrations were also held throughout the country.
The Piraeus-based team beat Fiorentina after extra time in the Europa Conference League final with Moroccan striker Ayoub El Kaabi scoring the winning goal in the 116th minute.
Olympiacos is the first Greek team to win a European trophy and Ayoub El Kaabi the first player in a major continental tournament to hit 11 goals in one campaign.
