Local showers and storms are forecast in the Ionian Sea and then in Epirus, Macedonia and Thessaly on Wednesday, while sunny weather is expected in the rest of the country. Winds will blow from mainly southerly and westerly directions, reaching a maximum of 6 Beaufort, with northerly winds in the Aegean.

Conditions are favourable for the transfer of dust from Africa. Temperatures are forecast to range from 20C to 32C in the north, between 23C and 32C in the west, from 22C to 34C in the east and between 29C and 31C on the islands of the Aegean.
