Pappas: 150,000 unanswered digital requests from taxpayers have accumulated in AADE
Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance Parliamentary Group President Nikos Pappas, in a statement on Tuesday, noted that "while Mitsotakis is organising another inauguration fiesta, 150,000 digital requests from taxpayers have accumulated in the new centralised services of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and remain unanswered for months".
"The inconvenience arising from the abolition of the Tax Offices and the transfer of their responsibilities to AADE's 'headquarters', without staff, without the possibility of communicating with the services, etc., creates problems in the market, in society and also for professionals ( accountants, tax experts)".
"The citizens, apart from the heavy increase of the taxes, also have to face the new bureaucracy," he added.
