Chrisochoidis: Clear mandate for police to ensure protester safety and secure demonstrations

The Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis , speaking on Wednesday to the radio station Parapolitika 90.1FM, referred to the demonstrations that will take place on February 28 to mark the completion of the two years after the railway tragedy in Tempi and the operational plan of the Police.

"The police have a clear mandate: to safeguard the demonstrators and the demonstrations," Chrisochoidis said, adding that the police focused on ensuring that all these demonstrations take place in a peaceful and, above all, safe manner for the participating citizens.
