Canadians praise the Cretan diet

With the title "Eat like a Greek?" Decoding the Mediterranean diet" the Canadian newspaper " Globe and Mail", host an article, which shows the benefits of Greek and Mediterranean diet.


The article refers to the Cretan diet, and how the Cretan people had the biggest longevity back in the 6Os.

"Cretans ate healthy products such as: cheese, yogurt, fish, poultry, red wine and red meat", says the article.

According to Dr. David Jerkins, "this diet contains foods, which are not processed and covers all food types".
