Thessaloniki: Thieves stole two and a half tons of copper cables

A gang stole two and a half tons of copper cables, from a marble factory in the Industrial Area of Kavala.


Police officers from Thessaloniki arrested four Greek and one Bulgarian for this case, and are looking for three more.

The thieves were arrested in a metal yard in Eleutherio Kordelio, while stripping the wires.

According to the Police, the value of the copper is estimated at 30,000 euros.
