"Mad cow disease" reported in Fthiotida
Two cases of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy - “mad cow disease” were reported in Fthiotida.
The Ministry of Agricultural Development did not appear concerned since the two animals, were imported from Holland. One of the two cows gave even birth, with the authorities having located and seized the offspring.
