ADEDY’s 24 hour strike today

ADEDY began today the 24-hour strike.


Employees from the public sector protested outside Parliament on Wednesday morning. School teachers and redundant cleaning staff from the Ministry of Finances congregated outside the Ministry of Administrative Reform.

ADEDY’s main demonstration took place at Klafthmonos Square where thousands of employees from the public sector attended. ADEDY’s executive committee has also called a 48-hour strike for the 19th and 20th of March.
