And this for the first time since the day it moved in our country and particularly in Crete, the system will be officially presented to Greek citizens participating in a military parade. As known, a little before the end of 2013, for the 11th Squadron Guided Missiles dawned a new era, as the first shot of S-300 in our country was successfully held.

The participation of 11th Squadron Guided Missiles in the parade has a special symbolism, as after years of uncertainty and difficulties, the recent firing system came to confirm the operational readiness of the system, putting new foundations in the use of S-300 in the Greek air defense network. Planned for 2014 is one more shot of the system at the Field Firing of Crete, as announced by leadership of the Armed Forces.
