EU Commission: We have agreed with Greece on the programme's policies
The Greek government and the troika of the country's international lenders have agreed on the policies of the programme, a spokesman for EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Olli Rehn said on Tuesday.
"We have agreed on the programme's policies and we expect to reach a deal on a technical level within the day," Simon O' Connor said when asked on the progress of negotiations according to ANA-MPA
He underlined that talks were lengthy as the issues under discussion were difficult and complex. The important thing is that the two sides are very close to an agreement and that there will be announcements within the day, he pointed out.
