Obama: West is united and opposes the policies of Russia

From Brussels, at an EU–USA summit, Barack Obama spoke about imposing even stricter sanctions against Russia, if it doesn't change its stance in regard to its manipulations in the subject of annexation of Crimea.

"The West is united and is considering even tougher sanctions against Russia. If Russia doesn't change attitude, the consequences for its economy will be even bigger" the U.S. president initially said and acknowledged that the isolation of Russia will create problem in Europe in regard to the provision of oil and gas: "The 28 members of the EU are united and determined. Europe should find alternative energy sources that are not dependent on Russia and not a hostage to threats". He also met with senior executives of the EU and NATO, before leaving for Saudi Arabia.
