More cruise ships in Hydra island
Cruise ships will have the ability to reach the port of Hydra due to the construction of the mooring buoy system on the island of St. Nicholas in Hydra.
The budget of the project is 350,000, financed entirely from the Attica periphery, while the contract is already signed with the contractor.
The project involves the construction a floating canister system of mooring buoy, with diameter of 430m and height of 2,20m, on which cruise ships can anchor.
The metal mooring buoy will have equipment for the anchorage of the ship in the seabed, but also equipment for rapid disengagement in case of emergency.
