Luxury birthday party in Mykonos for V. Milionis of Energa-Hellas Power

Cheers to ... the Greek government and the Greek citizens money, for Vasilis Milionis, who is accused of abusing public money in the scandal of Energa-Hellas Power, and celebrated his birthday in a luxurious party in Mykonos
2'

He and his 30 guests were celebrating on the island of winds for one week and the cost of the celebrations is estimated at 100,000 Euros. Four luxury villas for 2,500 Euros per night, four SUV cars for 7,500 Euros a week, a truck of fine spirits, private chefs and private loungers in an expensive beach-bar restaurant of the island, "for "the best birthday party of Mr. Milionis's life", according to the newspaper "Proto Thema".

Despite the fact that the trial is pending, Vassilis Milionis, who has been released on bail, says that is already convinced that "the case is finished." His over-optimism, likely stems from the appeal brought by the prosecutor of the Supreme Court, against the ruling of the Appeal Council, (pursuant to which were indicted 19 executives of the two companies with felony charges), citing lack of reasoning, misinterpretation of law, ambiguities, vagueness and contradictory assumptions.

Mr. Milionis, along with 18 other people, were accused that caused 270 million Euros damage in the Greek government, through the corporation of energy supply, Energa - Hellas Power, which instead to pay the excise tax on electricity consumption, and the tax of immovable property (that were collecting on behalf of the PPC, as power providers), had deposit the money in foreign bank accounts.

What if thousands of customers of the two companies had been in despair, when appeared to owe even though they paid their debts, Mr. Milionis is carefree and has the confident that the days of prison belong to the past, so he can rejoice the opulence guaranteeing him the millions of Euros, accused has abused.

Since the case is already in the hands of justice, we expect to be verified the willingness of the ministry of Finance, as a civil action for the criminal punishment of those responsible, and the return on Greek government of the misappropriated sums against the interests of Greek citizens, up to the last euro. Until then, the defendants should keep a low profile, instead to provoke public opinion, with their acts.
