Christoforakos: This is how we bribed the political parties
A revelation that comes to rock the ... calm waters in the political scene in Greece and to dissolve the soft ground, in which stand those who led the country in the hands of foreign usurers, by selling everything to lenders.
The fugitive and protégé of Merkel and of the German secret service, Christoforakos, who should have been send in Greek justice to be judged on Greek soil, analyze step - step, the whole project of bribery of Greek parties from Siemens, in order the German company to acquire, as characteristically says: "a better placement in Greece, to networked like other successful companies and especially the Greek companies, with particular emphasis on infrastructure and public sector."
In a provocatively cynical confession to the Munich prosecutor, Christoforakos stresses that ... was suggested to Siemens to follow the example of many such enterprises and to give regular donations to political parties for the cultivation of the political landscape. And went a step further, saying that the market showed that the Greek parties were used to asking for sponsorships.
Christoforakos with an incredible ... natural way, accepted his involvement in this project for financing the Greek parties, while stressing that it was common in Greece, the 'sponsors' of the parties to not appear publicly. "I knew that the money would be given secretly, but could never thought that it would be given to "slush funds"", confesses and then analyzes the ... plan of payments: "To be able to calculate the amount of sponsorship / payments and in order to have some basis of calculation, was chosen by Mr. Bernau for purposes of calculating the sponsorship, as an example, a current contract from a current project. It was taken into account the 2% of the turnover of this contract in order to determine the amount of sponsorship and the payments. In recent years, this accounted for approximately 0.4% of the total annual turnover of the branch of Siemens in Greece or about 0.25% of the total annual turnover of the Siemens Group in Greece."
Continuing his apology, Christoforakos revealed that no employee of Siemens in Greece, nor from the highest levels, knew about the plan for financing parties: "The money went automatically to the respective same recipients and for the same purpose. The payments were made via an account in Munich, namely through PLACID BLUE CORPORATION Company and later through FAIRWAYS Ltd under the same plan of the parent company. All resulted from the decision of that parent company in Munich."
Michael Christoforakos, enjoys extreme ... protection by the German authorities, he is free and has "immunity" for reasons that are easily understood. The Greek governments have reasons, as evidenced by the content of his apology, not to hurry for his extradition to Greece, in order to account for the "sinful" case of Siemens.
Christoforakos has stated that from the money that was transferred from the account managed by Mr. Kaldis in Monaco, did not keep a penny for himself: "All the money which passed through this channel, were placed in Greece for the interests of Siemens, as I had been instructed by the parent company. Mr. Kaldis used to bring cash to me in Greece, sometimes I received the money from Mr. Kaldis in Athens and I used to give it relatively fast further and specifically to persons who were authorized by the New Democracy (ND) and the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK)"
And the ... completely insane of the case was that the agreement with the parent company was not in the air, "there was counterparty, namely the political parties, which finally took money. This is the way it is done In Greece. You often accept calls from the political parties and they beg you to give them financial support "...
Christoforakos makes a particular reference to Theodore Tsoukatos, saying that he had received one million DM directly from the parent company in Munich and not by him.
