He specifically writes:

"With today's publication of the second colored representation, closes a period of three months of daily work. It took so long to create by hand four line drawings of the Tomb and three major presentations, a designed and two colored, dimensions 64x53cm. One of the colored presentations reflects the few surviving colors, while the second is complete, although hypothetical, based on some reasonable and probable considerations and taking into account the common tradition of the region in the decoration of Macedonian tombs. During that time took place the continuous updating of the findings, a research and continuous corrections and updates, since the presentations were "live", constantly changing and were taking place parallel to the excavation. For me, it was a creative and enjoyable adventure.

Therefore, this is how I imagined the monument during the days of its glow. Some differences in the details here and there do not matter and neither is able to remove the true luxury and grandeur of the tomb. Who was buried in the tomb? A citizen of Amphipolis, a "general" or someone's bones were thrown into a limestone coffin?

I tried, since they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, to create images that make the ordinary reader to understand the great value of this historic discovery; to be able to see the form and style, and perhaps to answer to the above question."
