ESEE: Stores to open on the last Sunday of the year
Stores throughout Greece will open on December 28 as a relevant amendment has been attached to the omnibus bill tabled to Parliament by the Development ministry, the head of the Greek commerce confederation ESEE Vassilis Korkidis said in a statement on Sunday.
The amendment is expected to have been voted by December 23, he added.
Therefore, stores will open on Sunday, December 21 and probably on Sunday, December 28 from 11.00 am to 08.00 pm.
"If there is one Sunday that the Development ministry and commerce representatives agree that stores should be open that is the last Sunday of the year," Korkidis underlined in the statement.
