The ski resort in Mainalo mountain opens for the season

Snow is falling from early morning in the mountainous Peloponnesus, without problems. Already is snowing in Gortynia and the region of Ziria, while sleet falls in regions with lower altitude. There are thunderstorms, locally strong on the plains of the Peloponnese.

There are no problems from the bad weather and traffic is normally conducted throughout the national and provincial roads of Peloponnese. The drivers, however, that move to the mountain provincial roads should be equipped with snow chains.
