EU Parliament to hold meeting on Tuesday (28/06/2016)

Schulz said that the parliament's line is clear. "We are very sorry for the decision of the British electorate but it was a dominant expression of the willingness of the British to leave the EU," he underlined, adding that it is a difficult time for both sides.

Schulz also referred to the announcement of the British Prime Minister David Cameron to step down next October, noting that it will be discussed at the next Summit.
