Bullet found at building housing Mexican embassy is from a Kalashnikov-type rifle
Fragments of a bullet discovered on Monday (01/08/2016) at the fourth floor of a building housing the Mexican Embassy in Kolonaki, central Athens, was probably fired from a Kalashnikov-type assault rifle, a senior police officer investigating the incident told Athens-Macedonian news agency.
The embassy is housed at the fifth floor, while on the third floor, which houses the offices of a multinational clothing company, police found a second hole on the outside wall made by a bullet.
The investigation is conducted by State Security which has collected footage from CCTV cameras in the area.
