Eight candidates for TV licences

According to the proceedings, the building of the General Secretariat of Information and Communications (GGEE) where the tender will take place was thoroughly checked by the Greek Police and sealed. Only the participants in the tender will have access to the building, while journalists will be kept strictly outside the building.

Throughout the process the participants will remain in specific areas and they will be allowed to get out the room only accompanied. Also, the use of personal computers or wireless devices will be prohibited.

The government will grant four TV licences.
