Wooden sailing boat with migrants and refugees located off the coasts of Samos
A wooden sailing boat with 49 migrants and refugees on board was located early Tuesday (13/09/2016) by a Frontex patrol vessel in the sea region north of the island of Samos.
The sailing boat, accompanied by a coast vessel, was led to the port of Karlovassi, Samos.
According to Coast Guard, another 94 migrants and refugees were rescued in the last 24 hours in two incidents in the sea regions of Mytilene and Chios.
