Negotiations on second review of the Greek programme started on Tuesday (15/11/2016)
Negotiations between the government and the representatives of the institutions started on Tuesday with the participation of Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos, Economy Minister Dimitris Papadimitriou and Energy Minister Giorgos Stathakis.
The negotiations, part of the second programme review, will focus on the privatisations super-fund and labour issues.
The agenda of the second programme review also includes 2017-2018 fiscal figures, the medium-term programme, the primary surplus targets, the social solidarity income, the extrajudicial settlement of non-performing loans, the privatisations, the opening of certain professions, boosting entrepreneurship and others.
The government aims to reach a staff level agreement by the Euro Working Group on November 28 so that the December 5 Eurogroup gives the green light for the medium-term measures for the debt and then discuss the participation or not of the IMF in the Greek programme.
