A 5.4-magnitude earthquake strikes east of Crete
A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit the sea area off eastern Crete on Wednesday evening, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said.
The tremor was located at a local depth of 77 klm and was felt in the city of Iraklion and eastern part of the island. No injuries or serious damages were immediately reported.
