Fourth programme review regards Greece's exit from memorandum, gov't spokesman Tzanakopoulos says
The fourth programme review is nothing more than the great negotiation that will take place in the context of Greece's exit from the memorandum programme, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said in statements to the public broadcaster ERT on Monday.
"Our goal is for Greece to be able tap the money markets without assistance in August 2018, so we can expand our range of freedom to exercise policy," he added.
Tzanakopoulos expressed optimism that Greece will succeed. "The markets and political forces in Europe are largely anticipating a good outcome," he said.
