Weather forecast: Storms on Sunday (11/02/2018)
Rain and storms are forecast for the west, central and northern parts of the country on Sunday, as the barometric low "Iokaste" (Jocasta) continues to affect Greece, bringing thunderstorms, wind and lower temperatures.
The National Meteorological Service (EMY) issued on Friday a weather warning for the weekend. Wind velocity will reach 8 on the Beaufort scale.
Thunderstorms in the northern parts of the country and snow on the mountains with temperatures ranging from 03C to 08C.
Clouds and rain in the western parts, with snow expected in mountainous areas, 09C to 14C.
Rain the storms in the eastern parts with temperatures between 14C and 17C.
Cloudy with scattered rain over the Aegean islands and Crete, 12C-16C.
Partly cloudy and rain in Athens, 09C-14C.
Same in Thessaloniki, 05C-08C.
