Athens Stock Exchange opening: Drop
Equity prices were falling on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). The basic share price index was down 0.47 percent, standing at 770.86 points at 11.00 and turnover at 9.89 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.08 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.36 percent.
On individual sector indices the biggest gains in Oil (+1.21 percent) and Food (+1.04 percent). The heaviest losses were in Industrial Products (-1.32 percent) and in Personal & Household (-1.29 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 16 were up, 42 were down and 18 were unchanged.
