More than 2 million Fuel Pass 2 applications submitted
More than 2 million Fuel Pass 2 applications have been submitted in order to deal with rising fuel costs, according to sources in the Digital Governance ministry.
Specifically, a total of 1,544,633 applications have been submitted for depositing the subsidy into a bank account and 581,087 applications for the issuance of a digital card, provided that the user has a suitable smart phone.
Until Tuesday, 333,010 applications, for the amount of 23,867,235 euros, had been approved and sent to the banks for payment. Of these, 221,377 applications concern deposits in bank accounts, to which the amount of 14,811,345 euros has already been paid. As for debit cards, 111,633 applications of a total amount of 9,055,890 euros have been approved and sent to the banks.
According to the same sources, the remaining Fuel Pass 2 beneficiaries will be paid today.
