Police in Thessaloniki checking out Maccabi Tel Aviv FC fans
Nearly 15 fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club were taken to police stations in Thessaloniki, as part of checks on fans for possession of objects.
The fans had gathered at the landmark White Tower in order to attend a game with Aris at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium.
The game is the second leg of the 2022-23 Europa Conference League third qualifying round.
