Greek PM may hold snap elections ahead of tabling state budget, says Tsipras

The Greek prime minister is looking into amending electoral law in view of holding snap elections ahead of tabling next year's state budget, SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras told his party's political secretariat on Tuesday.

The main opposition party leader added that the Greek premier is pressured by both the recent wire-tapping scandal and the country's overall economic predicament.

Tsipras expressed his belief that Syriza will win the next national elections, whenever these may be held.
