Government to present fictitious image of Greece at 86th TIF, says SYRIZA's Svigou
The government will be presenting a fictitious image of Greece during the 86th Thessaloniki International Fair, said SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance central committee secretary Rania Svigou on Saturday.
Speaking from the main opposition party's offices in Thessaloniki, Svigou noted that the government is one characterized by "neo-liberal obsessions and by wiretapping."
"Citizens are stunned every day by the revelations of the surveillance by the Mitsotakis regime, the cover-up and obscuring of information, while citizens and workers in Thessaloniki and across Greece experience impoverishment, destitution and despair," she underlined.
The way out of this is "only a progressive government, which can give hope and perspective to the country, and can restore democracy," she added.
