The two foreign ministers are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations and a Memorandum of Understanding on Diplomatic Education.

According to the programme, Dendias will also hold talks with other officials of the Niger government.

The foreign minister's visit to Niger, his fifth visit to Sub-Saharan Africa in 12 months, reflects the intense diplomatic activity of Greece and the upgrading of our country's presence in the above region, the ministry said.

Talks during the foreign minister's visit are expected to cover bilateral relations, cooperation in the International Organization of Francophonie, developments in the Sahel and a range of regional challenges, such as migration/refugees and terrorism.
