Mitsotakis in Egio, the first stop of his tour of Achaia

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is paying a two-day visit to the region of Achaia, arrived in the town of Egio at 10:15 on Tuesday.

Representatives of local government, ruling New Democracy (ND) party deputies and ordinary citizens welcomed him to the town.

Later, Mitsotakis will visit infrastructure works in progress in the area, followed by a visit to Kato Achaia.

At 19:30, the premier will speak at an event organised in Patras at "Royal Patras".

On Wednesday at 10:00, Mitsotakis will visit the headquarters of the region of western Greece in Patras where he will present the comprehensive plan for Patras in 2030.
