Prosecutor and examining magistrate disagree about police officer
The responsible Council of Misdemeanors is called to decide within the next five days on the penal treatment of the suspect.
The 32-year-old police officer who is facing charges of attempted murder after shooting a 16-year-old Rom on the head during pursuit testified on Friday to Thessaloniki examining magistrate.
After a meeting, the examining magistrate and the prosecutor disagreed if the suspect will be kept in custody as the first was negative while the prosecutor recommended to be held in custody.
