A warning that dangerous weather phenomena are on the way was sent to mobile phones in the Attica region on Μonday from the 112 emergency number.

The message urged them to minimise travel and take protective measures due to snowfall.

According to information from STASY, metro passengers heading to the airport will have to use the suburban railway from the "Doukissis Plakentias" station.

Bus routes gradually started operating after 06.30 in the morning. Specific routes will be delayed due to severe weather conditions in certain areas and frost.
