Egyptian counterpart Shoukry in Athens on Tuesday, FM Dendias says
Dendias told 'Apogevmatini' weekly that Greek-Egyptian relations are strengthened continually, and he noted the frequent meetings he had with his counterpart from Egypt.
In the interview, the Greek FM also noted Greek foreign policy's active role in the greater region and its participation in efforts to seek solutions to issues concerning the international community. Related to that, he said, Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen will arrive in Athens on April 21 for a meeting of all representatives of EU states on Syria, before Pedersen travels to Damascus.
Dendias also reiterated the improvement of Greek-Turkish relations following the deadly earthquakes in SE Türkiye on February 6, mentioning the visits of Greek ministers to the affected regions and the meetings of ministers between the two countries, and expressing the hope good relations will be maintained.
