Tsipras: «This will be the last Easter that the family table will be so poor»
Visiting the Kallithea Market in southern Athens on Wednesday, main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras expressed his certainty that "based on the people's decision, this will be the last Easter that the family table will be so poor, that the citizens will feel so alone in the face of day-to-day difficulties and high prices".
In statements after the conclusion of his visit, where he had the opportunity to chat with shop keepers and consumers, he said that everyone and especially consumers have for the past year been "climbing the hill of Calvary", as citizens witnessed prices going up while their income remained the same.
