Wildfire raging on Kefalonia
No residential areas were threatened.
A wildfire broke out on Sunday evening in an area of mixed farmland and forest in Aghia Irini, on the island of Kefalonia.
According to the Fire Brigade, 10 fire engines with a 32-member crew, one team of firefighters on foot, firefighting aircraft and a helicopter were battling the fire.
No residential areas were threatened.
