SYRIZA's Famellos: Gov't failed to protect the state ahead of fires, floods

Speaking to Skai, Sokratis Famellos criticized the government for not updating and applying the insitutional tools turned over by the outgoing government of Syriza in 2019 for issues of state resilience against climate change.

"What is urgent is to have Thessaly stand on its feet, and for this reason Syriza-PA officials are travelling there today to see how to resolve issues, how the people will live there, to discuss issues of health, water supply, economy, agricultural development and dealing with the economic and social repercussions of the catastrophe, because Thessaly has been hurt," Famellos said.
