Dendias: Greece firmly and consistently supports Ukraine and its territorial integrity

National Defence Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday participated in a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, organised at Ramstein Air Base following an initiative of the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

In a post on the social media platform X after the meeting, Dendias said he had "confirmed, once more, Greece's firm and consistent position to support Ukraine and its territorial integrity, against the Russian invasion. An invasion that is in flagrant violation of International Law, and puts Europe's security and stability at risk.

"I also referred to our country's humanitarian and defence assistance to Ukraine, and I highlighted that Greece shall stay by the Ukrainian people's side, offering all help possible, for as long as required."
